Q & A - SBI Japannext is migrating its existing Trading Platform from NYSE Euronext MMTP to OMX NASDAQ X-Stream INET Trading Technology. The migration will be in parallel until Q1 2013. - Q & A - Effective February 4th 2013, NASDAQ and NYSE will introduce market wide circuit breaker changes. The Market Wide Circuit Breaker (MWCB) functionality is being introduced to the NASDAQ UQDF and UTDF data feeds as well as to the NYSE CTA data feeds. As a result, Thomson Reuters is introducing a new NASDAQ market status RIC (.NASSTATUSMWCB) and NYSE market status RIC (.NYSSTATUSMWCB) to display MWCB information. Additionally there will be changes to the NYSE and NASDAQ Limit Up-Limit Down (LULD). Price bands will be set at a percentage above and below the average price of an individual security over a rolling five minute period. Any Bid or Ask that comes in above or below that security’s particular price band will be identified as Non-Executable and will not be included in the National Best Bid or Offer Calculations for the day. Any Bid or Ask that comes in equal to the Lower Limit or Upper Limit Price Band will be identified as in a Limit State.
